Ground Transport from Airports:

Taxis in Colombia are an easy, safe and affordable way to get to your accommodation from the airport. Most airports will have a marked booth or stand near the airport exit to direct you to registered taxis.

The minimum fare for metered taxis ranges from 3,000-5,000 COP (approximately USD$1.50-$2.50). Some taxis may work off a fixed fare system depending on distance so you’ll need to ask the driver how much it will be.

Taxi drivers may accept US dollars at the international airports but it’s best to use Colombian Pesos which are freely available from ATM’s (Cajero Automático in Spanish) or Foreign Currency Exchanges (Casa de Cambio in Spanish) in the airport terminal.
